Tyco Fire Protection Products Demonstrates Total Solutions at MIPS 2013

Date04/04/2013

Pavilion 75B,MIPS,St Petersburg, Moscow,15 – 18 April 2013

Tyco Fire Protection Products will be showcasing its range of leading fire detection and protection solutions at MIPS 2013. Visitors to the stand will be able to see comprehensive selection of products from key ranges for fire detection, mechanical, water and foam-based systems, and commercial suppression applications in action.

In addition to featuring it’s Zettler range of detection products, Tyco Fire Protection Products will be launching its new FLAMEVision flame detector FV400 system. The FLAMEVision family of flame detectors use patented IR array and triple IR solar blind technologies to provide reliable and cost effective fire detection solutions. FLAMEVision detectors are especially designed for industrial and hazardous area applications and can be trusted in high dependency situations.

In the arena of water based fire protection,
Tyco will be showing its range storage sprinklers; the ESFR-25, designed for storage areas with ceiling heights of up to45ft and the Dry ESFR-17; suitable for box-in-box storage applications.  In addition, Tyco’s WS and RFII sprinklers will be featured, both offering aesthetically pleasing solutions for architects; all our sprinklers are UL Listed.

The SAPPHIRE™ commercial suppression system will also be demonstrated on-stand. Custom-engineered to use Novec 1230™, SAPPHIRE™ is the fire suppression system of choice for many critical hazard applications. Delivering the extinguishant within ten seconds, the system minimises damage and downtime, while offering superior protection. The latest development in constant flow technology - i-Flow will also be showcased, together with Tyco’s inert gaseous range.

A range of GRINNELL mechanical grooved products will be available. The grooved couplings and  fittings provide a clear advantage over traditional threaded, welded or flanged systems, as installation is cleaner, safer, and easier. No hot works are required, and there is no need to isolate work areas because of fire risk, electric arc or fume generation, removing the need for specialised health and safety measures. They also offer a cost-effective alternative to traditional welded products in fire, mechanical, HVAC and industrial applications.

Tyco Fire Protection Products’ wide range of foam fire suppression brands will be featured at MIPS 2013. Visitors will be able to see products from established brands such as SKUM and SABOFOAM, for a broad variety of industry sectors ranging from petrochemical to marine and aviation.
